Mail, fax or bring in your Junior Camp registration to the Canterwood Golf Course Pro Shop. (Registration starts in March each year.) Click here for registration forms and info sheets or pick them up at the golf course.

Outside Canterwood’s Pro Shop, Becky Fossum Golf has a Lesson & Information Board - please, sign up there. Please sign up at the Lesson Board or call Becky directly at (253) 576-3130 to reserve your spot. Limited class sizes for these special group events - so sign up early!

• Private Lessons (age 5 & up)
     Ages: 5 - 6 ... Suggestion lesson times: ½ Hour
     Ages: 7 - 12 ... Suggestion lesson times: ½ Hour or 1 Hour. Plus, playing lessons available.
• Junior Golf Camp (July & August) - (Ages 5-7) 3-day golf camp (Mon-Wed). (Ages 8-12 & 13-15) 5-day golf camp (M-Fri).

6. I don’t have any golf equipment or golf clubs? Do I need to buy golf clubs?
Becky will provide golf clubs for any golfer (ages 5 & up). Becky will have both right & left handed golf clubs as loaners during your golf lesson. When booking your golf lesson, PLEASE notify Becky if needing golf equipment. Do I need to buy golf clubs? NO, but Becky can help you in narrow down the search - when your ready.

7. What do I wear to my golf lesson?
• Casual Golf attire is great. Please dress in comfortable layers. (Bring sun glasses, hats, light jackets, etc).
• Ladies: NO spaghetti string tops or low-cut tops. (Suggestion ... wear a sports bra.)
• Clothes best for video: Light colored & short sleeved tops are best to video your golf swing.
• Shoes: Golf shoes or tennis shoes are great!
• Ladies: NO ... boots, high heels / any spiked / low-heeled dress shoes, or slippery soles.
• Guys: NO ... boots (dress or work boots), dress shoes, or slippery soles.
• Canterwood Dress Code: Golf attire is suggested. Wear layers. Ladies - No tank tops or low-cut shirts. Men - no cut-offs.
• Indian Ridge Dress Code:
    • Ladies - Must have collars or sleeves. Skirts must be 3" from the knee or longer. Slacks, shorts or skirts / skorts are great.
    • Men - Must have collars; shirts must be tucked in. Slacks or shorts are great.
    • No jeans for either ladies or men. No running or swim gear allowed on the golf course. This is a private club - dress code is enforced at all times on the golf course, club house, driving range and practice facilities. Guest must be with Becky or another member at all times.

• Golf clubs, golf shoes, pull cart, or any golf training aids you have at home.
• Bring a great attitude and get ready for some “golf fun!"
• Bring any golf questions you have (even if you think they are silly - bring them).

9. How about lesson payments? And can I pay by credit cards?
Payment accepted: Cash, Visa or Master Card or check (made out to “Becky Fossum Golf”). If a Canterwood member - on Canterwood account. Becky will complete your payment transaction out on the range at the end of your lesson. Pre-payment for any lesson series, group lesson or Junior Golf Camp is required.

10. Where do I meet Becky for my golf lesson? How early should I come?
I meet my students on the driving range, by my golf cart on the driving range. Come about 5-10 minutes early. If I’m in a golf lesson, I’ll have ‘warm-up’ golf balls for you. If it’s your first golf lesson, I’ll have your registration form for you to fill out.

• Expiration: December of the next year. (Approximately 12+ months).
• Cancellation Policy: Phone call 24 hours in advance directly to Becky’s cell phone, (253) 576-3130, or lesson will be charged to your account. (Please don’t leave e-mail cancellation notice).

13. Can I purchase golf lesson gift certificates?
Yes, they are available all year long through Becky or the Pro Shop. Gift certificates can be mailed to your home or office (please allow one week). Any denomination above $10 is available.
